- He was research fellow at Cleveland Clinic in 2003.
- He was clinical fellow at Neurosurgery Department of American Hospital in 2009.
- Member of Turkish Society of Neurosurgery, Turkish Association of Spinal Surgery and NASS (North American Spine Society).
- Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Low back, back and neck pain and hernia,
- Stenosis of spinal canal,
- Cervical and lumbar spondylolisthesis secondary to degeneration,
- Spinal fractures secondary to osteoporosis,
- Peripheral nerve surgery (Carpal tunnel, Ulnar sulcus, tarsal tunnel, sciatic nerve),
- Brain tumors,
- Hydrocephalus,
- Congenital spinal cord diseases such as spina bifida and tethered cord syndrome.
