She is member of Board of COST DILI since 2019.
She is researcher member in NAPPED Consortium (an organization found by 28 expert facilities that are influential around the globe to better understand the natural course of diseases, different treatment options and outcomes), GALA Consortium (Gastrointestinal and Liver Association of the Americas) and International Autoimmune Hepatitis Group.
She was Member of Pediatric Committee in International Liver Transplantation Society from 2015 to 2018.
She was member of Board of School of Medicine, Ege University from 2008 to 2011.
She was assistant editor of Journal of Ege University from 2007 to 2011.
She was postdoctoral fellow at Pediatric Gastroenterology/Hepatology and Nutrition, Liver Center of Baylor College of Medicine Texas Children Hospital in Texas, USA in 2005-2006.

Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Liver diseases – Biliary atresia, Autoimmune hepatitis, PFIC, metabolic diseases, impairments in hepatic tests, drug-induced liver injury,
- Hepatosteaosis – hepatic failure,
- Preparation before liver transplantation – monitoring of post-transplant problems,
- Endoscopy, fibroscan,
- Allergic gastrointestinal diseases - Eosinophilic esophagitis, colitis, gastritis,
- Abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea,
- Irritable bowel disease,
- Celiac disease,
- Tube feeding,
- PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy).
