She was research fellow at Young Laboratory of the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto between 2012-2013.
She was awarded the doctorate degree (PhD) in the field of basic neurosciences in 2020.
She worked as visiting fellow at Translational Medicine Laboratory, Department of Psychiatry, Mayo Clinic in 2020.
She was Chair of Lithium Society for two periods between 2013-2019.
Board Member of Turkish Bipolar Disorder Association
Member of Editorial Development Board of Lancet Psychiatry Journal.
Member of European College of Psychiatry (ECNP) Scientific Advisory Board
She was granted “Samuel Gershon Junior Investigator Award” in the field of bipolar disorder in 2020.
