He participated in molecular research projects regarding etiology of rare recessive congenital muscle dystrophies and hereditary facial paralysis as short-term research fellow at Human Genetics Department of Radboud University (Nijmegen, the Netherlands) in 2010. He authored more than 40 papers published in international peer-review journals.
