She received training on Pediatric Neurology Consultation Medicine at Neurology Clinic, University of Innsbruck in 1994. She received applied training in the field of Extracranial and Transcranial Doppler Ulstrasound with the support of Compumedics DWL in Sipplingen / Germany. She was educated on Functional Doppler Ultrasound, Department of Neurology, Mannheim Clinic, Heidelberg Ruprecht – Karls University in 1997. She founded Extracranial and Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound Laboratory at the Department of Neurology, Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 1994. She has examined the patients with Parkinson’s disease and movement disorder and continued studies in this field since 1998. Member of Turkish Neurological Society Movement Disorders Study Group and Turkish Parkinson’s Disease Society (since 1993). She works in the field of movement disorders surgery since 2009. She conducts studies in the field of cerebellar ataxia and genetic ataxia since 2015. She graduated from Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine, İstanbul University, with excellent degree. She was awarded the Title “Associate Professor of Neurology” in 2000 and “Professor of Neurology” in 2007.
