About
- She completed the Medical Genetics residency training at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2022.
- As part of her research project on the genetic basis of congenital contractures, the association between the USP14 gene and a lethal contracture phenotype was described for the first time in the literature (Turgut et al., 2022).
- Worked as a specialist physician in the National Newborn Spinal Muscular Atrophy Screening Program between 2022 and 2025.
- Served as a visiting lecturer in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Gebze Technical University during the 2023–2024 academic year.
- As of May 2025, working as a Medical Genetics specialist at Koç University Hospital.
