He was Head of the Neuroradiology Department, Istanbul School of Medicine, Istanbul University 2011 to -2016. He got the Trainer Neuroradiologist diploma of the European Society of Neuroradiology in 2011. He was elected to the Committee of Editors of the American Journal of Neuroradiology, the official journal of the American Society of Neuroradiology, in 2018.
