- He was granted the certificate of Educational Comission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in 1997.
- He was elected an honorary member (fellow) by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe in 2010.
- He was elected to the European Board of Interventional Radiology in 2011.
- He was Chairman and General Secretary of the Board in Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology from 2009 to 2011, member of the Board in Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology in 2013-2014, Head of the Scientic Committee for Annual Meeeting of Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology in 2011 and member of the Scientic Committee for Annual Meeeting of Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology from 2012 to 2015.
- He participated in and took office as coordinator in Cardiovascular and interventional Radiological Society of Europe, Varicose Vein Workshops.
- Member of Turkish Society of Radiology, Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, European Society of Radiology and European Venous Forum.
- He is still editor of Interventional Radiology Section in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Journal, reviewer in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Journal and reviewer in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Journal.
- He organized numerous international and national scientific meetings and lectured in numerous organizations.
- He authored 111 articles that are published in international scientific journals.
