- He worked as resident at the Department of Opthalmology, Rabin Medical Center (Israeli), and made studies on nerve damage, angiogenesis and pathophysiology of retinal diseases at Felsenstein Medical Research Center from 2003 to 2009.
- He worked as clinical observer at Uveitis Clinic of Moorfields Eye Hospital (London / The U.K.) in 2012, “post-doc fellow” at Ocular Oncology Service of Wills Eye Institute (Philadelphia, The U.S.A.) in 2014 and visiting lecturer for uveitis and retinal diseases at Byers Eye Institute of Stanford University (California, The U.S.A.) in 2018 and 2019.
- He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 2016.
- He was awarded the title “Fellow of European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO)” with the highest honor in 2017.
- Member of Turkish Ophthalmological Association (TOD), Turkish Republics of Opthalmology Society (TCOD), International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS), International Society of Ocular Oncology (ISOO), American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and European Society of Retina Specialists (Euretina).
