  • He completed the internal medicine residency in 1998 and ‘endocrinology and metabolic diseases’ fellowship in 2001, at School of Medicine, Marmara University.
  • He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 2008 and “Professor” in 2015.
  • He is member of Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Turkey, Turkish Diabetes Foundation, Turkish Diabetes Association, Turkish Society of Internal Medicine Specialty, Endocrine Society, European Association for the Study of Diabetes and European Society of Endocrinology.
  • He authored total 56 papers published in international scientific journals and 16 papers published in local journals.
