Gained USMLE-ECFMG American Medical License in 2003.
He had the fellowship education through surgeries that include; Cataract and Refractive Laser Surgery in Baylor College Houston in 2003, Vitreoretinal Surgery in Duke University in 2006, Advanced Refractive Laser Surgery in Instituto Alicante in 2007, one-to-one patient surgeries on cataract, cornea and refractive surgery in Southwestern Medical Center of University of Texas with American Medical License, completed his subspecialty education.
Awarded the first prize by American Academy Ophthalmology and ESCRS (European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons)
He was granted the title “Associate Professor” in 2009 and “Professor” in 2015.
Has professional experience of more than 2000 surgical cases.
Member of Turkish Ophthalmological Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Surgery of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (Education and Young Ophthalmologist Committees)

Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Complicated (difficult) cataract surgery,
- Advanced refractive (treatment of myopia,hypermetropia andastigmatism) surgery,
- Surgery for Keratoconus-cornea diseases and cornea transplant,
- Glaucoma and artificial cornea surgery,
- Macula and vitreoretinal surgery.
