Clinical Interests

Pancreas and Bile Duct Diseases,
ERCP ( Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography ),
Diagnostic and therapeutic EUS ( Endoscopic Ultrasonography ),
Balloon enteroscopy (endoscopic examination of the small intestines),
Endoscopic treatment of esophageal diverticula (Zenker Diverticulum),
Endoscopic vacuum treatment of intra-abdominal/extra-abdominal fistulas that develop after surgeries,
Anti-reflux mucosal ablation (ARMA) treatment in gastroesophageal reflux,
Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR),
Endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR).

After receiving the title of associate professor, he worked full-time and continuously between 2008-2016 in the ERCP and Endosonography units of Ankara Yüksek İhtisas Hospital, where he received his gastroenterology specialization training, and provided ERCP and EUS training.
He was in the USA between 2005-2006 and in Germany in 2013 and 2017 for training purposes.
He has 167 scientific articles published in national and international journals, 182 scientific reports presented in international and national congresses, and 15 national book chapters.
He is a member of the European Gastroenterology Board (Fellow of European Gastroenterology Board).
He has served as an editor, editorial board member, and referee in national and international gastroenterology journals.
He was awarded video case awards at the National Gastroenterology Congresses in 2011, 2013, and 2015.
He has served as the Secretary General of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association in the past.
He is currently a member of the Turkish Gastroenterology Association, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Association and Turkish Association for Studies of Liver Diseases.
