Head of Department

He did his Gamma Knife Radiosurgery fellowship in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Pain Surgery and Movement Disorder Surgery fellowship in Oregon Health Sciences University.
He personally treated more than 13.000 patients with Gamma Knife Radiosurgery since 1999.
He served as President of Turkish Neuromodulation Society.
He is a panel member of EANS Radiosurgery Section. He also is a committee member of EANS Individual Membership Committee.
He is serving as Chief of Radiosurgery Committee of SEENS
He is currently a PhD student in Maastricht University (Skull Base Tumor Radiosurgery).
Under his leadership, Koç University Gamma Knife Center become an Elekta Reference Center and additionally ISRS Certified Center in 2022.
Dr. Peker has published 181 articles in refereed journals. He performed 206 presentations in International and National Meetings. He presented 281 conferences as a guest scientist or visiting professor. His h-index is 20 (WOS) and 27 (Google Scholar).
