Prof. Şükrü Dilege, M.D.

He was awarded the title “Associate Professor” in 1996 and “Professor” in 2004.
Worked at Cardiovascular Surgery Department of Oregon Health Sciences University.
He played a role in foundation of Department of Thoracic Surgery, School of Medicine, Istanbul University in 2000.
He was assigned as Head of Thoracic Surgery Department, Istanbul School of Medicine in 2005.
Working as faculty member since the foundation of School of Medicine, Koç University, Dr. Dilege has been the Dean of Koç University School of Medicine since September 2018.

Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Minimally invasive thoracic surgery,
- Videothoracoscopic / robotic thoracic surgery,
- Lung resection surgeries,
- Mediastinal surgery,
- Chest wall surgeries.
