Clinical Interests
- Functional neurosurgery, deep brain stimulation (DBS), and surgery for movement disorders,
- Gamma Knife radiosurgery and other stereotactic radiosurgery applications,
- Brain tumors and neuro-oncological surgery,
- Surgical treatment of trigeminal and glossopharyngeal neuralgia and other cranial nerve pain syndromes,
- Cerebral arteriovenous malformations and their stereotactic treatment.
About
- He graduated from Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his neurosurgery residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2005 and 2011.
- Between 2011 and 2022, he worked as a neurosurgeon and faculty member at state and university hospitals.
- Between 2022 and 2024, he completed fellowship programs in “Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery” and “Gamma Knife Radiosurgery” at Koç University Hospital.
- He has worked at the Department of Neurosurgery and Gamma Knife Center at Koç University Hospital since 2022 and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2025.
- He is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at Yeditepe University. His academic work focuses on stereotactic radiosurgery, functional neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and image-guided stereotactic targeting.
- His academic output includes 44 international and 35 national peer-reviewed journal publications, 66 scientific conference presentations, 12 book chapters, and editorship of one book.
