He was clinical fellow of interventional radiology at Department of Radiology, School of Medicine, Indiana University-Purdue University, the U.S. in 2001 and 2002.
He was granted the title of "Associate Professor " in 2006 and "Professor" in 2012 by Radiology Department, Hacettepe University.
He was elected as Fellow member at Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) in 2012.
He has been editor in Interventional Radiology section of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Journal since 2014.
Member of Turkish Society of Radiology, Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology, European Society of Radiology and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.

Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Interventional Oncology,
- Transarterial radioembolizaiton/chemoembolization,
- Angiography / stent / balloon,
- Treatment of varicose veins,
- Organ / tissue biopsies,
- Drainage.
