Prof. Galip Ağaoğlu, M.D.

Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

He was fellow at the Microsurgery Division of the Plastic Surgery Department in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 2 years (starting in 2004).
He conducted numerous experimental and cadaveric studies on the face transplant from 2004 to 2006. He authored more than articles and book chapters on this topic.
He was granted the title “Associate Professor” at the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department of the School of Medicine in the Istanbul Bilim University in 2007.
He passed the exam of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2007.
He was certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in 2005. He is the holder of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE STEP – Unlimited State License) License in the U.S.A. since 2006.
