Between 2002 and 2005, he served as the Local Exchange Officer and General Secretary of the Turkish Medical Students' International Committee (TurkMSIC). From 2008 to 2020, he worked as the Technical Editor of Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica (AOTT) Journal, and since 2020, he has continued his role as Associate Editor. He successfully passed the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council (TOTEK) exam in 2013 and the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT) exam in 2016. From 2023 to 2025, he served as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Turkish Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery From 2023 to 2025, he also served as a Board Member of the Sports Traumatology Section of the Turkish Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTBİD). In 2024, he was elected as the Secretary of the Certification Examination Committee of the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council (TOTEK). Since 2014, he has been working at Koç University Hospital and, since 2017, as a faculty member at Koç University School of Medicine. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2020. He is a member of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow (SECEC), Turkish Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (TODCD), Turkish Society of Sports Injuries, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery (TUSYAD), Turkish Socity of Orthopedic and Traumatology (TOTDER), Turkish Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTBID), and the Turkish Muscular Diseases Association. Principal areas of clinical interest: Operative and non-operative treatment of shoulder joint disorders, Operative and non-operative treatment of elbow joint disorders, Scapular problems related to FSHD, Surgery for sports injuries of the knee joint.
