Orthopedics and Traumatology

He completed his primary education at Galatasaray High School between 1994-2002.
He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine, where he received basic medical education, in 2008, ranking second in his class.
In 2014, he received fellowship training in shoulder surgery at the Shoulder Unit of the Centre Orthopédique Santy Clinic in Lyon, France.
In 2017, he successfully passed the Turkish Educational Council of Orthopedics and Traumatology (TOTEK) proficiency exam and became a member of TOTEK.
In 2018, he was elected as a member of the Editorial Board of EFORT Open Reviews magazine.
In 2019, he became a member of the Turkish Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
In 2019, he was elected as a member of the Website Committee of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow (SECEC) and was appointed as the social media manager of the same association.
In 2020, he received the title of assistant professor at Koç University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
He has articles and ongoing researches on fractures around the shoulder joint, tendon problems around the shoulder, initial and recurrent dislocations of the shoulder, shoulder joint arthritis and frozen shoulder.
In 2025, he was elected as the president of the Digital Media Committee of the European Society for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECEC) and a member of the association's board of directors.
