- She completed her residency at Neurology Department, School of Medicine Gazi University in 1985; and granted the title of “Associate Professor” in 1994 and “Professor” in 2012.
- She was Chief of Neurology Clinic at Health Sciences Haseki Teaching and Research Hospital from 1998 to 2012. She founded outpatient clinics, including Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders.
- She was among founding members of Turkish Society of Parkinson’s Disease and served as Vice President and Board Member.
- She is member of Neurology Study Group in Turkish Society of Parkinson’s Disease

- Tremor: Essential Tremor and other Tremor types,
- Dystonia,
- Wilson's disease,
- Headache,
- Cerebrovascular Diseases,
