Attained the title of associate professor in 2002 and professor in 2007. Under the Geraldine C. Zeiler scholarship, attended Mayo Clinic in the USA as an observer in pulmonary pathology in 2009. Has over 70 articles published on international journals; authored chapters in national and international books; and edited one international book.
