Professor Özmen received 6 international awards for studies conducted with TUBITAK scholarship.
Won EURAPS (European Association of Plastic Surgeons) Young Scholarship Award and studied craniofacial surgery in Sahlgrenska Academy, Sweden in 2004.
Received Best Experimental Study Award by Plastic Surgery Education Foundation (PSEF) – a very prestigious award in the U.S.A. and which is awarded only to only few people in Turkey.
Gained the first rank for the Certified Wound Expert ICW Certificate in Germany in 2007.
Has 20 awards, including 8 international ones.
Member of Tissue Transplantation Scientific Committee of Ministry of Health since 2010.

Principal fields of clinical interest:
Cosmetic Surgery
- Nasal aesthetic and functional surgery (rhinoplasty, hypertrophic nasal turbinate, surgery for deviated septum etc.),
- Aesthetic surgeries for eyelid, ear, lip, forehead, face and neck, and bichectomy,
- Breast aesthetics (augmentation, reduction, mastopexy, gynecomastia, nipple aesthetics etc.),
- Truncal aesthetics (tummy tuck, liposuction, post-bariatric 360-degree abdominal aesthetics etc.),
- Arm lift, thigh lift (trouser lift), liposuction for arms and legs
- Genital aesthetic surgery ( labiaplasty, repair of hymen, vaginal tightening, penile surgery),
- Fat injections (face and leg recontouring, buttock augmentation).

Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures
