He was visiting faculty member at Anesthesiology and Reanimation Unit of School of Medicine, University of Copenhagen in 2003-2004.
He was visiting faculty member at Anesthesiology and Reanimation Unit of School of Medicine, University of Copenhagen in 2007.
He was visiting faculty member at Anesthesiology and Reanimation Unit of School of Medicine, New York University in 2008.
He was President of Association of Regional Anesthesia from 2015 to 2018.
He has been Vice President of Association of Regional Anesthesia since 2018.
He is still member of Board of European Society of Regional Anesthesia.

Principal areas of clinical interest:
- Management of acute pain,
- Regional anesthesia,
- Management of the difficult airway.
