Koç University Hospital Spine Center (KÜHOM) has been operated on domestic and international platform for diagnosis and treatment of spine and spinal cord diseases since the foundation of Koç University Hospital. 

Spine surgeons with neurosurgical and orthopedic origins are working in cooperation under the roof of KÜHOM that is built upon principles of multidisciplinary approach. Moreover, KÜHOM continues its activities in close cooperation with Radiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Algology, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Rheumatology and Endocrinology departments.

While many diseases of spine and spinal cord are treated in KÜHOM, various academic studies, including clinical, biomechanical and experimental ones, are also conducted. Our clinic is regarded among pioneering institutions for clinical practices and production of knowledge in the field of spine and spinal cord surgery. Hosting many patented surgical instruments that are developed by surgeons of our team; our clinic has also identified numerous surgical techniques that are addressed in the literature.
