All types of stem cell transplantation, autologous or allogenic, can be performed at our stem cell transplantation unit.

Despite dating back only four years at this time, the unit has improved its facilities, become further reinforced with an experienced team of specialists, and been serving international patients. Our unit has an agreement with the Social Insurance Institution and undertakes stem cell transplantation procedures of Turkish citizens without any additional charge. Approximately 60 stem cell transplantations are performed at the unit annually, and 20% of our patients visit from abroad.

Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation

(Transplantation of stem cells collected from the patient themselves)

Allogenic Stem Cell Transplantation

(Transplantation of stem cells from another individual with matching tissues)

Our unit serves patients diagnosed with hematological malignancies (such as acute leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma) as well as those who are diagnosed with benign hematological conditions (such as aplastic anemia and thalassemia cases). Patients diagnosed with other conditions like testicular cancer may be referred to our department by medical oncologists as well.
Internal medicine and hematology specialists serve under our unit.
