Changes in lifestyle, dietary habits and environmental circumstances have led to increased prevalence of allergic and immunologic diseases. As the Allergy and Immunology department of Koç University Hospital, we diagnose and treat dermal, food and drug allergies as well as allergies of the upper and lower respiratory tracts among adult patients.

Adopting globally recognized advanced medical applications in treatment of patients, our department stands out in the forefront among other national centers in this field with academic productivity and a robust scientific and ethical approach. Our team practices evidence-based techniques and treatment methods, respects patients’ preferences at all times and refuses to compromise excellence in medical practices.

The Allergy and Immunology department of Koç University Hospital also features excellent physical facilities and bed capacity. Patients receiving immunotherapy receive their vaccines in a special procedure room, and are kept under observation for a specific period of time. Specialized physicians of our department closely follow developments in the field, duly inform patients about all treatment methods, and allow each presenting individual to get a better perception of their own allergenic profiles.

Medical practices that require advanced technology and specific experience, which are offered by few centers in the field, are available at our department.
