Typically, diagnostic and therapeutic processes of breast diseases are managed by general surgeons in our country. However, many women share their complaints and concerns with gynecologists and obstetricians. In this sense, we make effort to assess and refer, if necessary, the women through the appropriate methods at the right time.
First, breast screening is done that is necessitated by your age, personal history and family history in line with the current international guidelines. Similarly, in case any complaint or finding is identified, you will be assessed jointly by radiologist and breast surgeon.
In addition to our clinical practices and experiences on breast diseases –important conditions that influence women’s health-, we use low-radiation digital mammogram, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, genetic tests (BRCA etc., if required) and cutting-edge technology means.
