Operating under the department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, the Intensive Care Unit of Koç University Hospital admits patients in a closed space consisting of 16 beds and provides 3-level service. The ICU team consists of faculty members, specialized physicians, nurses, monitoring technicians, support personnel and cleaning staff, each experienced in their own fields and working for the objective of offering patients the most ideal service possible. 

Since the year 2014, our intensive care unit has been providing all means of advanced technological support to patients. These include monitoring of vital functions, respirator support, plasma exchange, renal support system, intra-aortic balloon pump and extracorporeal membrane oxygenator. Attaining high survival rates at all times and offering quality living standards to patients after receiving care constitute our most significant objective. 

To achieve this objective, we provide uninterrupted service at the adult intensive care unit with specialized physicians. Our patients enjoy the best possible service currently possible in single rooms, where advanced technological equipment is available. Most importantly, we operate in an interdisciplinary manner by benefiting from all facilities available at Koç University Hospital. Throughout this exhausting and extensive process, our cheerful and dynamic team always assists patients and their relatives.

The adult intensive care unit is in relation with all branches in the hospital.
The unit undertakes postoperative treatment and observation for all departments such as general surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, urology, neurosurgery, organ transplantation, otorhinolaryngology, plastic surgery, endocrinology, hematology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, neurology, oncology and psychiatry. 

Pediatric patients are observed at the pediatric intensive care unit.
